  • Maintains organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining strategic plans for implementation
  • Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects
  • Completes projects by coordinating resources
  • Verifies application results by conducting system audits
  • Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures, information security and control structures
  • Recommends IT strategies, policies, and procedures; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements etc.
  • Forecasting requirements to meet financial objectives; preparing annual budget; scheduling expenditures; initiating corrective action
  • Provide advisory or support capacity to staff with information & advice in job expectations, appraisals, coaching & counselling, policies & procedures, training & development needs

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Tertiary Education
  • Proven knowledge in technical management, strategic planning and quality management
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good prioritization skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of complex information and requirements
  • Australian Permanent Resident (minimum)
