Level 1 - IT Technician - VIC

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service technician to join our iTLC MSP team in Clayton, Melbourne and as a passionate applicant, you will be supporting a busy team based in Australia and various other regions across Asia.
This Role involves the following primary responsibilities but not limited to:
- Assist the MSP team to resolve customer-based issues, perform regular and thorough checks on customer’s infrastructure as part of the scheduled routines.
- Assist in the technical consultancy of project scoping and delivery.
- Generate additional opportunities within the MSP Customer Base for iTLC.
- Communicate regular update on technical issues and assists until a satisfactory resolution is achieved.
- Able to work with industry recognized computer systems, networks and communication protocols.
- Assist with installation planning & integration of Desktop, Server, Cloud and Network Infrastructure.
- Accept direction in performing other duties consistent with training and skills levels appropriate for this position.
- Demonstrate the ability to configure/support Microsoft environments, i.e. Server 2012/16/19, Hyper-V, Active Directory, File Security Structures & Exchange/365 environments. Assist in day to day management of Microsoft 365 including account creation, group management, Azure AD and Intune (preferred).
- Demonstrate the ability to Configure, Monitor & Restore specific AV & Back-Up technologies including Cloud resources such as Azure and AWS.
- Assist with development & help desk support for iTLC personnel & clients.
Key selection criteria:
- A minimum of two years’ experience in the day to day operations of I.T Support, including outsourced or internal to a company.
- Flexible to work after hours.
- Skilled in the installation and remediation of Desktop Infrastructure, Networks, Storage, Server & Backup technologies as well as Microsoft 365. Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified (particularly in Microsoft 365).
- Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology desirable.
- Strong presentations skills both via phone and onsite communication with internal and external Provide guidance, training and mentorship to employees engaged at lower levels.
- Accept responsibility/accountability for customer satisfaction/dissatisfaction and quality of service provided.
- Adheres & contributes to company’s quality housekeeping standards and procedures.
- Previous exposure in remotely coordinating technical outcomes to the client
- Strong personal time management skills and priority setting skills
- Self-motivation, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Professional presentation and ability to work unsupervised with strong problem solving skills.
- Onsite customer visits will be required so a current Full Driver’s License is imperative.

Salary based on qualified experience at as starting rate of $55000 per year base plus statutory super.
