Level 2 IT Technician - Tatura Local Required
Computergate Australia requires the services of a Level 2 IT Technician based in the Tatura, Victoria regional area for a 1 month contract with immediate start. Locals only to apply due to Covid19 restrictions.
Position Description
- Demonstrates an ability to respond to issues such as complex, unusual, intermittent or undefined malfunctions.
- Researches technical problems and recommends solutions.
- Maintains contact with such technical problems and assists until a satisfactory resolution is achieved. Also, communicates status of site to local management prior to leaving any premises.
- Demonstrates an ability to review the background pertinent to problems and applies engineering skills appropriate to providing a solution.
- Contributes to technical discoveries & product (performance) improvement projects.
- Identifies procedures that contribute to improved service deliveries & support.
- Exercises broad discretion in defining and solving technical problems which may require the development of new & alternative approaches.
- Applies logical, methodical, analytical approaches to isolate and solve complex problems.
- Is capable of working with industry recognized computer systems, networks and communication protocols.
- Provide assistance with installation planning & integration of LAN, WAN & Communications infrastructure.
- Provides guidance to customers relative to component failure and problem determination procedures.
- Accept responsibility for customer satisfaction and quality of service provided.
- Accepts direction in performing other duties consistent with training and skills levels appropriate for this position.
- Demonstrates the ability to prepare Network ready Server & PC Solutions.
- Demonstrates the ability to maintain, identify & resolve clients managed network (hardware/software) services, including management & upkeep of software, drivers & patches.
- Maintain advanced technical reading & training disciplines.
- Maintains dress standards & work ethics in line with company policy.
- Adheres & contributes to company’s quality housekeeping standards and procedures.
In addition to the above, may be required to work outside of normal business hours to assist in problem resolution.
