Extended Warranty Cover
With Computergate, the Contex Standard warranty converts to a 1-year On-Site Parts Replacement Service, offerings all clients local Service desk access with a scheduled on-site technician to replace any faulty parts.
User Maintenance & Consumables, such as parts affected by normal wear and tear (lamps, glass, white background plates, filters) are not covered by the extended warranty plan.
Computergate technicians are specialists in Contex & Colortrac scanner repair and maintenance, and provide on-site repair and servicing in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia.
Computergate is able to extend the 1-year On-Site Replacement Service to a 3-year or 5-year option. This gives you a guarantee and ‘peace of mind’ that you will have your problem addressed and production back on-line, providing you the peace of mind that we will stand behind our products for many years after your purchase. Even if you do not extend your initial warranty cover, our Service Desk will still offer service, but delays may occur in obtain parts. Our service and repair work is carried out using genuine Contex parts and carry the full manufacturer’s warranty.
If required, Computergate can install your scanner at your location by a local technician.
We have a fixed fee service that will unpack, test and connect the scanner on your nominated device or network and ensure your users have access to the scanner.
This can be ordered at the time of purchasing your scanner through your local reseller.
Contex and Colortrac Parts & Consumables
We carry a full set of consumables and major parts for all Contex & Colortrac models. They can all be purchased at any time with the intention of getting your scanner in full working order on our initial visit.
